Valencene

Aroma: Sweet citrus — specifically orange-forward

Boiling point: 123°C (253°F)

Named after Valencia oranges where it was first identified. Valencene produces a bright, sweet orange aroma distinct from limonene's sharper lemon/grapefruit scent. In cannabis, it reinforces uplifting and energizing profiles. Relatively rare as a dominant terpene but contributes to the complex citrus bouquets of strains like Tangie and Agent Orange.
